Stuart Trought (1950), CEO
A long-term resident of Alderney, Stuart has forty years experience in matters maritime, initially as a seafaring master mariner. Since 1983 he has been in the management of marine businesses. In his previous two positions as a Director at Lamnalco and at Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company (ADPPOC) he was responsible for multi million dollar budgets and contracts, employing up to seven hundred people.
Paul Clark (1968), Executive Director
Paul Clark was one of the original founders. He is an entrepreneur having had considerable success in the service and property sectors and experience in shipping and waste management
Declan Gaudion (1964), Vice President and Founder
One of the original founders and a senior civil servant with nearly twenty years experience. He has extensive harbour and local marine knowledge. Declan is also Coxswain of the RNLI all-weather Trent class lifeboat stationed in Alderney.
Gareth Hughes (1963), Director
Gareth is a former director of Psion plc, the British technology group and former FTSE 100 company. Gareth is experienced in the commercialisation of evolving technologies, corporate strategy and corporate financing. He has a longstanding association with Alderney.
Mike Eggleton OBE (1932), Director
45 years in the generation, transmission and distribution of the UK Supply Industry. Former Executive Director of British Electricity International, Director of Engineering of Yorkshire Electricity, founder and Chairman of St. Clements Services Ltd and the UK Data Collection Service Ltd (both now absorbed by takeovers). Currently Director of Secure Electrans Ltd and MNE Consultancy Ltd.
James Ives (1973), Director
A professional engineer and experienced senior executive with key energy sector knowledge. Previously CEO of an energy utility and senior manager within Accenture. Early career was spent in automotive engineering specialising in fluid mechanics advising clients including Mercedes Benz and Ferrari.
Mark Wordsworth (1959), Director
Mark read law at Cambridge University and has spent his working life in the venture capital and private equity industry. He was involved in assisting the States of Alderney to establish the Alderney Commission for Renewable Energy (“ACRE”) and was Chairman of ACRE. He was a director and partner of Bridgepoint Capital and is currently the Chairman of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful group of companies and a director of Brown Lloyd James.
Mike Wrigley (1947), French Project Consultant
Consulting engineer, having managed process control projects in the UK, the USA, the Netherlands and in France. Since 1994 qualified as an ISO9001 auditor working in (amongst other places) France and the Czech Republic. Chairman of the French Network of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
